Good on you Baihe for standing your ground. I'm sure many people can identify with having to compromise their personal beliefs on behalf of an immoral employer.

a) Your boss shouldn't be cool with putting expired products on the shelves, but:
b) Religion shouldn't be involved. If you're going to make a criticism, make it your criticism. Do it because of what you think, not what you think god would have you do. Otherwise you'll come off as narcissistic and preachy (which seems to be something you do a lot of).

If I were you I'd kill myself, just to see if there really is a god.

Seriously though, I think the idea of deliberately putting out expired products on the shelf is wrong and should be reported. What if someone gets sick or worse from one of the products and sues the store? Isn't there some authority this can be reported to?

I remember recently I bought a pack of biscuits that were like months past their sell by. They were horrible. Well, the one I ate was. I went back to check the shelves (Tesco) and they had a bunch of expired packets so I went to the customer services desk and explained it. She gave me back my money (which I didn't want) but also went and personally removed all the expired packs, which I was glad of.

But like the guys say, you can stand up for what is right without bringing that god person into it. Who does he think he is anyway? God?

You did the right thing but then you got all holier than thou when you brought god into it and that's when you lost my sympathy..

If it had been me i don't know what ive would've done, ideally i would've done the same thing as you but realistically i probably would've said this..

Well it's cool of you to point out her mistakes, but what followed sounded straight out of a Christian propoganda movie. No one cares what your religious affiliation is, and bringing it into that sort of confrontation makes you come off as "holier-than-thou" which nobody really responds well to. As bob. said I would have fired you right then and there for having actively disobeyed your boss.

I'm not saying what she did was right, but the way you went about trying to fix it wasn't right either, you are both to blame.

Thanks for your support. To be honest, if I'm not a Christian, perhaps I will do as my boss' demand under the pressure of life . Deep in my heart, I want to be a kindhearted man, but the world we live in is so cruel. Sometimes, although I know something is not good, I have no choice but to follow it. So I felt so painful and helpless, I felt that I had lived a life without dignity and personality. Fortunately, I'm a Christian now.God says,"The youth should have the truth, not conceal hypocrisy and unrighteousness, stand the ground they should take, and not drift with the tide. They should have the spirit to dare to consecrate themselves for righteousness and the truth and strive, strive for the truth. The youth should have the courage to not yield to the suppression of the force of darkness and to change the meaning of their own existence. The youth should not resign themselves meekly but should be broad-minded, broad-minded and have the spirit of forgiving the brothers and sisters. The youth should have the will to discern reason and seek the truth and righteousness. You should pursue every beautiful and good thing and gain the reality of all positive things, positive things, and you should be responsible for your own life and not take it lightly. You should pursue every beautiful and good thing and gain the reality of positive things. You should be responsible for your own life, be responsible for your own life and not take it lightly."(from “The Words Spoken to the Old and Young” in The Word Appears in the Flesh)
God's word give me faith and courage to stand the ground.Yes, I should have the courage to not yield to the suppression of the force of darkness.I should pursue every beautiful and good thing to live dignity life.
