I hope you're not somewhere that is suffering from a heat wave. Not being able to swim due to the stitches, that would suck.

Please, do give your friend my sympathies. If that happened to her again...I guess you'd call that a double-doink.

But seriously, glad she's okay.

I'd offer up my cheese heads. Something tells me that wouldn't help.

In the Bears' defense, Aaron Rodgers chokes in the postseason more than they do.

That is correct. I think he could have helped the team more by becoming the Jeopardy host full time. He takes up way too much of the salary cap.

We have family in Wisconsin. By default, we're cheesy. Ironically, I hate cheese. Can't stand the stuff.

Hey, you! Haven't you got more important things to be doing? j/k
Thanks for the update L, although I wish you were more comfortable at this point instead of being squeezed by someone else's possessions. Glad you made it through the process of moving everything across town, which I can imagine was totally exhausting. Judging by the time difference, you're probably fast asleep now between boxes lol.

That tennis game with your son sounds like fun, but hard work! My guess is that you were secretely pleased that it was your son who won.
Yes, I was definitely glad he won (and I think our workout really lifted his spirits). At the end of two sets I was worn out with my sneakers and socks covered in clay.

Clay courts are a rarity here. I think we have one, maybe two clubs with some clay courts. I had a hard time with ball bounces. My timing was all off. I love watching it though. There seems to be more strategy involved, as opposed to a hard court.

I'm going to the men's tournament in Montreal on Friday. It's a tune up event (masters series) for the US open. Most of the top players will pull out, but I don't care.

Leggo update - healing up nice and tidy. You've never seen such a cute and charming lil calf wound.
