Hey! I was actually thinking of buying a coffee maker.
Do you think I should do that? ... or should I just buy
some instant coffee and chase it with a glass of water?

I just eat it. Straight no chaser. I’ll put in milk if I have some though.

Oh, yes! I can make coffee in it, but I have to get rid of it now since it's so wrong to have!
I was thinking that, maybe, a coffee maker may be more "acceptable" - or is that too much of an indulgence?
