I went to the local Mexican restaurant and had the carnitas dinner [braised chunks of roasted pork with sautéed onions, Spanish rice, refried beans, melted queso fresco, salsa, guacamole, pico de gallo and shredded lettuce, served with warm flour tortillas] on an empty stomach. It's my usual, the only thing that I ever order.

Now I have heartburn and acid reflux like a MUTHAF*CKER! The doctors told me when I got my gallbladder removed that I might have problems with certain foods, but that problem hasn't manifested itself until RIGHT F*CKING NOW! I've been popping TUMS and drinking cold water in an attempt to quell it.

They buried my grandmother's cremains in South Dakota this morning, on the Pine Ridge reservation, where the government stashed my fellow Oglala Lakota Sioux native Americans, after they claimed rights to the land and raped and pillaged our women.

I'm marinating some pork chops for the grill.

A well-timed Prozac (generic name is omeprazole) will do you a lot more good than Tums. Even taking one once your heartburn comes on will work better, but it'll take an hour or so to go into effect.

Also carnitas crew represent. Way better than (typically) dry ass carne asada.

I'm not sure if you had a Freudian slip, a lapse in memory or if it is a closeted jab, but Prozac ≠ omeprazole. Prilosec is for acid reflux. Prozac is an antipsychotic drug. Well played either way.

I inherited a bit of reflux from my Dad, and also have a really bad time with it when I have too much citrus. Usually what I use is Maalox or some other liquid antacid which I find more effective than tablets. I try to make sure it's mint flavored or something because seeing as it's not the most comfortable thing to consume, I don't want it tasting like chalk on top of that.

Wasn't today, I'm just sayin'.

But anyhoo, I think BK stole my ****ing money. All total my schedule would have given me 51 hours (had four shifts that got extended by at least three hours cause someone got fired and I took an eight hour shift for someone who needed to go to a funeral). Yesterday my boss gave me the day off from that extra eight hour shift, so that's down to 43 hours. I wasn't sent home early once and around 20 minutes till my shift was over the shift manager told me I had to clock out as soon as my relief came cause I was at 39 hours and they wouldn't let me even get to first base with overtime (I'm paraphrasing).

This was my last day on the schedule. Is should currently be at 43 hours. I am at 39. 43 - 39 = ... *counts on fingers* 6. No, 4. It's 4. I talked to the manager and we looked at my hours for each day this week and I clearly saw that my time for Friday was off by, wait for it... 4 hours. She's gonna call the store manager and I'm going to give them a day to fix this **** whether it was an honest mistake or they're actively ****ing me. Right this ****ing moment I am finna pitch a fit so a day to cool off is prudent.

But God help them and the state of the air in their tires if this isn't fixed by the time I get paid next week.
