Go to Alesmith and Karl Strauss. **** Ballast Point. Find some pho if you can. Get Mexican food from a sketchy looking place or truck. Rent a rod and go fishing off of a pier. The bay's purty. Uh the Booty Basement is cool if you're high on molly. Oh! Try a recreational dispensary. The Gaslamp is great for bar hopping. One More That's It is usually hoppin too. Idk how you feel about zoos but SD zoo and safari park (formerly wild animal park) are extensive. Hike a popular trail like Los Penasquitos or to a landmark like potato chip rock and watch out for snakes. Go to the Che Cafe and tell everyone how much of a poseur elphenor is. Check out what UCSD has going on artistically, musically, or if there are any lectures if you're interested in that. Bread and Salt is a great art venue that has good shows sometimes. There's a great record store in Carlsbad called Spin records that's close to a Coaster station if you don't have a car. That's located in Carlsbad Village which has a couple of good bars, a good book store, restaurants, and a good strip of beach. Pizza Port is dope. There's another record store in Encinitas called Lou's (Encinitas sucks a bit though). Cow Records in Pacific Beach. Catch a sunset and a sunrise at the beach or from a vista if you can.

How long are you in for?

Oh yeah I remember SD zoo supposedly being amazing and a safari park is something that I don't know exists outside of Africa. Both would probably be my first day.

Today I learned that for some ****ing reason one of my managers is scared of bungee cords and this is a new era. She will suffer. Because we have a bungee cord. And she snitches on me to the general manager rather than actually talking to me about the dumb **** I do like a real boss.

Felt oddly depressed earlier today for no apparent reason. Spent a few hours just sleeping, waking, staring into the ceiling, sleeping, [repeat].

You need some of what I'm drinking. I'm sipping on an aged glass of perpetual numbness with a subtle hint of realizing that I will always be this way.

I bet you made fun of James Joyce when you were growing up.
