Took me waaaay too long to get

Funny, when we were together this past weekend it was almost like when we had first started dating (minus the constant bunny ****ing). No stress, lots of laughing, and really comfortable with each other. It'd been 6 weeks since we'd seen each other. Hands down the longest we'd been apart since we first met back in 1979.

I just got off the phone with her and we were actually flirting a little. As we were saying bye she slipped and let loose a "Goodnight Hon".

Getting divorced might just be the best thing that's ever happened to our relationship (the two kids aside).

Update on the house fire - I later learned that my tenant that started the fire was fired from work the same day, so he now has no money to find a new residence, nor money to pay me rent, nor to pay me the $600 he owes for his electric bill. The worst bit is that he's stuck with me for the foreseeable future and every day he stays is a continued risk of burning the house down.

To top off all this good news, I got a check engine light and my furnace died so I'm sleeping in the cold until I pay for repairs next week.

Not my favorite month. Just taking it one day at a time and I'm grateful the place hasn't gone up in flames yet. Got to focus on the positive.
