I mean, on one hand I can see how her reaction/the twitter reactions may seem over the top, but on the other hand, it's pretty clear to me that she likely had dealt with the sort of harassers who initially just compliment your appearance (which is all well and good if you're not overbearing) and then become increasingly hostile over the course of the night/try to follow you home/etc. So I imagine she's just a bit hypervigilant when it comes to unsolicited compliments on her appearance.
