I don't get why people are rude and mean to their servers at restaurants. Are they that ignorant? Why would you want to piss off the people who prepare the food that you plan on ingesting? You know how EASY it is for them to fuck with your food?

I wanted a 2008 Civic but the five that surfaced online were each pre-auction vehicles and sold within minutes of listing. I ended up getting a Subaru Impreza 2.5i which is equally economical to maintain and has all-wheel drive which should help with the Buffalo winters. I'll post a pic once I've passed the road test.

Today was really exciting. I participated in a Finnegans Wake reading machine event at the local contemporary arts center and followed that up with a yoga class at the city's Botanical Gardens.

The reading was a fantastic networking opportunity. I watched a semantic word vector computational analysis of the text, then I met the director of Waywords & Meansigns whose open source web archive showcases musical interpretations of Joyce's work. I also met a local artist who invited me to join the city's Finnegans Wake reading community. I was filmed reading the Wake and the finished project is set to tour France in the months ahead.

Yoga was an equally enjoyable experience. Just learning to breathe was an important step which will prove useful each and every day.

Hooray for new experiences!

Did you figure out that one weird trick about eating so you don't die? I learned that on the internet, with drinking water.

I haven't, actually. As far as I know, everyone dies no matter how much they eat.

Not true. There is an exact amount you have to eat to not die. The problem is that no one has eaten that much yet.

And now for something completely different.....

Trilogy III - 2017
Dates to be announced!

Seriously though, these dudes hooked up over 42 years ago and rocked the hell out of the Merrimack Valley. So great to get together today and share some memories - and a ton of laughs!

And my dad had a good day, relatively speaking. (be f*cking nice please.)
