Today I woke up with a tank full of energy, prepared to take on another day at my new job. It has thus far proved to be semi-successful, the pay is minimum wage but I have been granted so many hours that it is difficult to complain on that front, considering the recession and the lack of employment in general.

However, the boss (who was ill during my first week) returned today and she wasted no time in grinding me down until both my heels and knuckles dragged along the floor behind me. She is persistent, self-important, devoid of a sense of humour or charm and she has the physical appearance of Danny DeVito's portrayal of The Penguin.

I can see the next few months are going to be a joy.

Thanks :) We started off doing a lot of very folky/acoustic kind-of stuff but since then we've really progressed into heavier, more 'rock' stuff. Eh, I'm always hopeless at describing our music!

my friend is on the steady road to destruction, my parents are trying to kill me (not literally...thats a plus) and i have a very paranoid feeling that my friend is in some kind of big trouble... because neither him or his sister have answered their phones for 2 days and they ALWAYS answer their phones. Either i have some kind of sixth sense or im just flippin paranoid. Can't tell which it is yet.

Phone rang at 9 this morning (waaaaay too early) with a girl wanting help with her calc homework. Helped her for 2.5 hours, phone rang again with another girl (crying) because her boyfriend got busted for drinking underage and having pot in his car, and then broke up with her, and THEN she found out that he cheated on her...and i had to be soggy shoulder in this situation. Not that its so bad to have a soggy shoulder..just tiring. Now my day is mostly gone and i haven't finished all the work i have to do and the long weekend has basically gone to hell.

At least i had a long weekend.

It's all from my Rammstein listening days :D In my class today, we learned how to introduce ourselves when we get to an airport. So not much. But I was happy cause the teacher can't accept the idea of "translation" in the way he teaches. [That's usually what pisses me of in my English classes]

Well, uh, I guess that was, well, awesome...

Been a busy few days for me... long, involved days with small added drama's / complexities like car headlights going out, extra stresses at both my job and the like...

But it's wednesday and the golden relaxational goodness of the weeekend is but a couple of days away... should coincidentally get a bit warmer around here too on the weekend! Yaaaaay!
