Pretty darn glorious day... woke up later than normal fully knowing I don't have to work... always a good start! Did a little cleaning up, took my daughter out to buy her a toy, get some computer items and a few CDs, went for a walk and just generally chilled out.... damn good. The day was nice and sunny too, which always goes in its favor.

I've been sick for the past few days.
Then I got sunburn at the concert I went to a few days ago. So I've been trying not to do much. I did get to listen to some of The Fall today, having heard to much about the band. xD So my music knowledge widens, little by little. On top of that, I was finally able to cut off most of these fake nails from Prom. I can go back to playing guitar. -_- I can safely say I never want to have acrylic nails ever again. |

I wound up buying the first three Kings of Leon albums... everything I've read seems to say they're a pretty decent listen, and hey they werew out on sale!
I try to cram as much enjoyment into my days off as I can! My usually long working hours kinda make me wanna soak up the time as much as possible! That being said this next month and a half should be pretty easygoing, I am down to just one regular job per week, as my main job at a high school is out until September... easy days are good!

That's a good deal though, oil it every 2/3 weeks and it will last awhile. |

And yes, easy days are great. But it takes having enough tough ones to really appreciate the easy ones... heh... I've still been off doing nothing, waiting for semester to start... had a 6 month vacation after finishing my sentence in the military. I'm sick of taking it easy. lol.

Oh I can totally understand what its like to take it easy too long... was between jobs for a lengthy time of about wsix months once and nearly tore my hair out through frustration due to inactivity... I am definitely more of a need to stay busy to stay mentally healthy type person...

I'm pretty good with my shots, and have even grouped within 3 inches at 10 yards with a 40 cal Baby Eagle, who's recoil is ridiculous. Main thing I want to know is that I don't get jams after 2 magazines from simple carbon build up and/or weapon design, and that I can group shots reasonably and at effective distances. Plus, it's my first semi-auto pistol purchase. Hehe.. I have rifles, a shot-gun, and a revolver.. But I wanted an SA. Next up... assault rifle. Gotta love the lax gun laws where I live.

I didn't say what I meant to about the .22, I was trying to say that you can fire shots more accurately and faster than 9mm. My Ruger MkII 22/45 is just incredible, easy to master and deadly accurate. I have a childhood friend from Mattapan and he gave me it, fucking beautiful. He said that .22's are the best for putting down non-armored criminals. |

Today I found out that I'm going to New Zealand in September for a 'family reunion' (my parents & sisters live all over the world.) My parental units are paying for me and one of my roommates to go over as a kind of bribery to make sure I go. Free holiday... score!
