I went downtown and interviewed some people for my article for the MBZine then I sat down for an hour and a bit transcribing it out from my voice recorder into word documents. The reason it took so long was because the first interview didn't save properly so I had to redo it which didn't make me a happy camper. Now I'm back home and feel obliged to finish the article but journalism, like pop music, is hard work and I feel exhausted.

Uhm, today was a weird day.
I don't know whether I want to cry about it or laugh about it. |

Confusing day for you? I`ve come to dislike anything but the straightforward in recent years.... complicated is just so... well, complicated...
My day involved alot of work, but ultimately it wasn't bad. I actually kinda enjoyed my job today which was a refreshing change because the whole last week before today kinda blew... well it blew at work, anyways!

I work two jobs at the moment, during the school year I work as an aide at the local high school, with kids that have special physical/cognitive/emotional needs, and I also work in a Deli most of the summer and at nights... the deli job is mainly for the health care benefits (gotta have the coverage for three kids and the school district doesn't offer it yet)
I LOVE the school job and thats really where my real calling is at, and I often find myself hating the deli job, but it can be fun when you get the right mix of workers / customers!

^ I'm working at a special needs school at the moment, most rewarding job I've ever had.
Anyway, my day today consisted of singing for the first time since my throat surgery. And playing guitar, too (I'm not just swaying weirdly). lolz have a laugh. |

Well, so far. I woke up scared ****less when my mom dropped something in the shower at 6:30am, got up to pee, tried to go back to sleep, had heartburn for some reason, didn't work, drank some sparkling lemonade, got worse heartburn and a stomach ache, went on myspace and youtube, got on here, went in the members picture thread, and now I really want a double cheeseburger.
Hot damn, and it's only 8:13! Why am I still awake? |
