Today I found out I have to have surgery on my larynx because I have a peritonsil abscess. That's what George Washington died of, apparently. This makes me sad because I'm a singer. :(

Red... sorry to hear about your impending surgery... its perfectly possible you can recover, you hear of singers going through surgeries on their vocal chords and the like... and recovering. Hang in there, stay hopeful and you'll get back to where you want to be!

Sorry to hear that...it's an outpatient thing right? Do they just have to drain it or is it going to be more involved than that?

In any case, here's hoping all goes well and your back to singing in no time. :)

Today I made spicy shredded chicken enchiladas, with corn tortillas, green pepper enchilada sauce, mozzarella cheese, monterey jack cheese, diced fresh tomatoes, and chives.

Why?
Because I fucking rule in the kitchen.
