Where do you work? They sound like they are on the ball.

the conductor for youth symphony is an *******. i annoyed him cuz i couldnt get a part correct (i was really tired and couldnt remember how it went) and he decided to be a passive agressive middleschooler for the rest of the rehearsal.

Let's see... Finally got my student loan refund this morning, so went and picked up my car that was in the shop. Drove around jamming for like 2 hours cause I didn't have a car for like 2 weeks... went and got some groceries, came home, listened to one of my roommates bitch a little bit, downloaded some tunes, killed some time on Facebook and AIM, and that about sums it up. Was kind of a dead day.

It started off good. I went over to Steve's house to hear his band practice a new song for the Battle of the Bands at 930 Club. I came home and got on musicbanter and listened to music. Then I went over to the girlfriend's house and got in a huge fight and we broke up. I called in sick to work. My best friend Jenna called me around 7 saying she had a big problem and needed to talk. I completely blew her off because I was in a ****ty mood. I got another call from her roommate about 3 hours ago saying she came in and found Jenna in her room unconscious with some dope and a needle on her desk and she called 911 but it was too late. Then I ****ed up again even after that and here I am on musicbanter because I don't know what to do. Hopefully I won't wake up tomorrow.

On the plus side, I've only got one more week of work left (though I am enjoying it), then 2 weeks of holiday, then uni.

On the minus, I'm sad my flatmate is leaving for a six month exchange in England tomorrow - he'll be at the University of Manchester.

And we had a crap night on the town yesterday - too much money spent, not enough single Asian girls and a crap turnout. And the ATM gobbled my eftpos card.

Good: Went to a coffee shop that's located inside an old railroad car. Fun joint. Ordered a white tea, and me and a chick played Outburst for 3 hours. Listened to The Black Keys virtually all day, and Dan Auerbach's solo stuff.

Bad: Pulled a favor for said girl tonight at 2 am, after she invited me to come over... when I got there she had already passed out or something; So, I stood on her porch like a ****ing tool for 15 minutes calling a few times and hoping she'd answer. I seriously can't remember the last time I felt like that big of a douche, just standing there-- do nice things, and you'll get walked on.

EDIT: Now she calls at 3:30 am. God, seriously, the things I do...

Got to go snowboarding yesterday with drummer & friend. It was awesome, first time this season. Didn't fall on my ass until I tried to hit a box.

Worked all day but really enjoyed the warmer conditions up here in the Milwaukee area.... high thirties and forties feels so darn comfortable when you compare it to the freezer we've been in for the last month before this week!

Now I am at the end of the day listening to one of my favorite bands and relaxing with a nice mixture of coke and spirits, t'is good!
