Oh it's nothing like that.

I've been buying loads of dvd box sets of old TV dramas lately, stuff like The Sweeny , House Of Cards , Minder , The Monocled Mutineer , Randall & Hopkirk , Danger UXB and load of others and at the moment they're piled up on the floor with a load of books because I have no shelf space.

After i've done this I gotta turf out my old video collection too

I've spent about £400 on dvd's in the past 2 weeks , that's easing the pain somewhat.

I remember putting all my CDs into wallets just prior to moving to the US, carrying minimal baggage with me was a priority! I managed to fit 1000 odd CDs into three wallets, which I thought was a pretty decent effort, if you don't mind me saying so...

It was an agonizing process, and wrought with emotions, since I attached alot of memories, thoughts and feelings with those Cds and their cases...

It really felt a bit like moving on, ya know, packing up what was once and moving on to something new... maybe in some ways it was cathartic, therapuetic, even...

At about 1 A.M our band got together and fired our guitarist/vocalist. Our drummer felt strongly on the subject of letting him have a second chance. Our guitarist/vocalist was planning on kicking our other guitarist out of the band and replacing him without anoynes consent. And recently our guitarist/vocalist have been fighting with our guituitarist. Oh well we sort of benefit from this because this is the same guy who took off his two lower guitar strings cause he said they felt to loose. And the same guy who wants us to be a Hinder sell out. My friend came over at 8 A.M. thinking that I would go to mass with him even though I had no warning ahead of time so I let him down. And now I plan on hopefully nothing happening, but watching the superbowl.

Bummer, that sounds like a sucky night... sorry to hear it... sounds like as a group you were ready to let him go though.

My day yesterday, wasn't too bad, I guess!

Spent the morning with my daughter, mostly - needed to do some shopping so she came with, which she loves - for some reason tooling around in a shopping cart makes her happy...hehehehehe...

Went to work, it was busy and fairly awful up to the last few hours when we finally caught up with our work - didn't help some kid that should have known better didn't come in and didn't call to let us know so we could bring in a replacement....grrr! Damn people with no work ethic...

Anyways got a call from home to tell me that my daughter was puking, so that wasn't cool either...

It all worked out in the end, as she slept off what seemed to be bugging her and she was up and down playing and talking and laughing, now she seems fine this morning!

Woke up, got ready, went out to watch the match as yesterday was derby day which luckily still means a lot in this part of the country, watched the game and drank for most of the day, came home, watched Match Of The Day and then The Superbowl and fell asleep in the 4th quarter.

Default Baffled!

I got a call from my Work this morning, telling me not to go in at Tea-Time because of the Bad Weather. This afternoon I got another one, telling me to go in at Tea-Time after all. When I rang them to say I couldn't get there because the road was blocked, I was told that they had shut early- Due to Bad Weather!
