Aw, thank you. Hope your mom is ok... when my gram went into the hospital when they were looking for her cancer for the first time, they were trying to give her the MRI and it was a really traumatic experience for her as well, she is very clausterphobic and couldn't put her head in... they shot her up with all kinds of relaxants and nerve sedatives and she still couldn't... so they ended up not doing it because she couldn't, inevitably... so they found her one at a different hospital that was an "open MRI" where her head wasn't completely in, so she was more relaxed with that one.

The noises the machine makes are really loud and booming, one moment you can hear the song just fine, next moment you can only hear the MRI. It's a bit annoying, but the sound out of mine seemed to vibrate the machine, so it was a bit like a mini-massage, it was an interesting experience to say the least. When I got out of it, I was putting all my jewelry back on and Money was blaring out of the room and I was dancing around to it, the Tech was amused ha.

I took a nap in a MRI machine last year. Although it was only my leg that needed scanned, not my head...

While I was waiting to get mine done I was talking to this lady, she's actually an LPN I guess, and her husband was in getting an MRI of his knee. I guess he was climbing a tree or something and got a needle jammed into his knee bone? Crazy ****... he came out though and said it wasn't a big deal, don't stress about it.

45 fucking minutes? Jesus Christ.

Why'd you have it anyway?

Ive had one on my brain before too. It was a little uncomfortable but I didn't mind it. It was having to stay still that was frustrating for me, its harder than I would have thought. And having to endure Radio 1 was bad too, no one told me I could bring a CD. Grrr.

I have cluster headaches, inherited from my dad... and my dumbass, bubbly neurologist sent me in for an MRI to "rule out anything else that it could be." I still don't know what the results were, she's supposed to call me, but my dad said it was most likely unecessary, as did his neurologist about 25 years ago.

I found out why everyone hates vista. :)
It didn't load my account properly and I lost all of my files.
All of them.
Including my music collection...

I only had about half of them printed off in CD's.

So yeah, I'm pretty pissed.
