I’m going on a date today.

And I’m scared ****less.

I mean, I’ve never actually had a date, my two previous relationships evolved out of a long kasting friendship.

And here’s this girl who I’ve seen once, like a month ago, at a mutual friends’ party.
And apparently we have been shipped by him for a long time.

And like a week ago She texted me, and here we are, I’m supposed to meet her in 2 hours or so.

I’ve got a gig coming on saturday, and yet I’m unable to even stress or joy because of it, because here I am, waiting to meet a girl, who if I wouldn’t meet I know I’d regret for a long time

Relax and be yourself. She's probably just as nervous as you are, maybe even more so. It also helps to picture people naked. Wait. No, thats stage fright.

Good luck! Just be yourself, ask lots of questions about her, be genuinely interested and ask follow-up questions (get to know her) - make some jokes to lighten the mood and whatever you do, don't tell her that you frequent MusicBanter!

Let us know how it goes!

I mean if you're not picturing your date naked there's a problem.

Tell her you know me.

Oh no wait, don't. There's that injunction, isn't there?

Damn.

Best of luck!

I was back in the classroom today after nearly 2 years of teaching from home. Students sitting about 1 m apart with masks on, and actually I didn't find talking through a mask for several hours as bad as I expected.

Yes, congrats on your return to the classroom, Lisna! Glad you remained comfortable talking through the mask for hours, which is no mean feat.

An apple and a big A+ for the teacher.
