Thanks everyone, it has been in the pipeline for a while and we knew it was always going to be a possibility.

I don’t know TH, I just felt like I shouldn’t have a reason to cry or be upset because it’s not my diagnosis. Which I know is stupid. We are both pretty strong but felt like I had to try and hold myself together for him.

Well of course I don't know, but let's say your mother or father was diagnosed with cancer, or your bf was. Wouldn't you cry then? Wouldn't they sort of want you to? I dunno, could be well off the beam here (and if I am I do apologise) but is an emotional reaction better than it looking like you're ignoring it or downplaying it? Do you think he's waiting for you to say something, or (you know him best of course) does he prefer you to be strong/aloof from it? Maybe talking about it makes it too real, too possible?

Hell, what do I know? Have a kitten. Best I can do.

I know, it is only natural to be upset. We have spoke about it a few times and it’s come in to our conversation but each time it does I start crying and I can’t stop lol. I have a funeral today as well and I really can’t be arsed leaving the house but it is one I need to go to.

Thank you for the kitten. If only

I hung out with my friend and their bandmate yesterday and jammed in a practice space that's soon to turn into an abandoned building. It was a lot of fun seeing their synergy, but I felt like I wasn't able to contribute much because of my setup (lack of prep). I need a more immediate way of getting **** out of a modular without making space sounds.

Well my aunt died yesterday evening. My grandmother called her (my grandmother's daughter) and no response. Requested a wellness check. State troopers and local police arrive and enter the residence. Dead on the floor.

Surprised? Yes. Shocked? No.

Sometimes, the consequences of lifestyles catch up with you.

I'm more upset for my grandmother, who at this point has outlived three of her children.

Damn. My condolences.

Sorry to hear SGR. My Great-Grandmother survived the death of her daughter, who just happened to be my grandmother (heart problems if anyone is curious), so I can only imagine the pain your Grandmother is going through right now.

She had a lot of health issues that were related to her being extremely overweight, and she unfortunately didn't change her eating habits.
