I don't even want to imagine what that tog's life must be on a daily basis.
Like, when you just want someone to pay attention to you, and like you, and whatever, but what you get is burks, slaps, hits, kicks. But you still can't stop wanting their attention and love, because after all, that person is your "pack", your group, your best friend and actually the Leader of your Pack Why can't people sometimes think about what they're doing |

HaHa! I think we need a new "Your Day" thread just for Boomers, which would be full of the bewildered questions that we have each day:-
What does that mean? Why are people doing that? Where did I put my glasses? Why isn't John Lennon making albums these days?

It’s an abbreviation I’ve made.
I have a problem with the distinction of human/animal. ZINC means „Zwierzę Inne Niż Człowiek”, which in english would be AOTH (Animal Other Than human), or something in the likes. So I Like the zinc thing better. But that wasn’t really the point of my outburst |

The point with zincs isn’t about vegetarianism or veganism either.
I mean, I don’t eat meat, but I have nothing against it in a general matter. Another thing entirely is the mindset of „animals - humans”. 1. Humans are animals 2. Humans use the word „animal” to describe undignifying, aggressive behaviour. And so „animal” becomes a negative word, that means „dumb” and „unworthy” and so on. 3. Because of that the human use of word „animal”, inspires humans (even in a subconcious level) to think of other animals as lesser beings, which is simply not true. The common use of these words make it seem, like there’s a distinct difference of quality between the two, and not simply a difference in the way we perceive the world. The aftermath of such thinking leads humans then to not care about the dog’s feelings or pain, because „he’ll get over it, he’s just an animal”, or to kick that dog, because apparently an animal can’t feel pain or whatever. And so instead of using a word, that on it’s own is fine, but in the broader context is quite hurtful, I’ve decided to use an abbreviation that would take us all closer together. |

Ftr i never heard that acronym either but it was pretty obvious it meant pets or whatever just from the context
Speaking of zinc my mom has a puppy that won't stop eating ****. Last dog she had like that they literally prescribed zinc pills cause they said that's why she eats it cause she doesn't have enough zinc. Did not work at all I'm telling you dogs just like the taste of ****.... I'm about to buy a muzzle for this one cause I don't know how to train him not to do it but the **** grosses me out |

I mean I overflowed my grandparents' toilet and pretended like nothing happened if that counts.
