If you want fun cult stories just go to your nearest church on Sunday.

Lol I had to look back to 2018 to see what you meant. I was just um...going through some ****. I was high as a kite at the time. Wasn't in a cult, just out of my mind. I'm back on planet earth now and sober lol. No idea what I even was talking to you about tbh.

Welcome back

Yeah, I feel you in all of that

Where are you from? And what kind of background do you come from or dwell into?

Born in Moscow, my parents immigrated to Montreal in the early 90s when I was a little kid. Russian was my first language and I haven’t lost it though I often misplace the stress when I speak.

Btw I’ve always loved the sound of Polish. To the naked ear it has almost no mutual intelligibility with Russian BUT apparently if you learn a few rules about how the sounds have evolved from a shared ancestor, then it’s much easier. Maybe one day I’ll get a chance to study it, who knows.

Since you’re clearly interested in political theory, my friendly advice would be to pick a topic or an author you genuinely enjoy and study it in depth for a few years. With libgen it can be done. You don’t want to be stuck at your current level of sub-Wikipedia knowledge about a bunch of random stuff, where all you can do is clumsily throw labels and slogans around.

When I see you use Foucault to launder dumb guy opinions about how bitches be lyin' about rape it reinforces my little theory that books don't necessarily make you not a ****head.

Some people are such pathetic losers.

Had a first time customer come in and put $94 worth of records on the checkout counter. Ended up only buying a $25 record and two $3 records. Had me do the total four times as he put stuff back telling me how he just lost his job BUT...OH BUT HOW WONDERFUL OUR SHOP IS...HOW WONDERFUL WE PRICE OUR RECORDS. I just kept telling him the total. He just kept shaking his head. Like, dude, what in the f*ck do you expect me to do? Just give you sh*t for free?

Pathetic f*cking losers. This niche hobby attracts the lowest totem pole dweebs and grifters.

Kind of agree: I should've known better than linking a provocative argument to a theory there was no way in hell I could adequately lay out in this format. The point I intended to make had less to do with factual veracity or lack thereof but I sure didn't do a good job of conveying that.
