Music Banter - Your Day

While going out to pick up some Thai food last night,
I was listening to some of the great soundtrack that
Can did for the film “Ein großer graublauer Vogel” and it
got me in the mood to come back to the six volumes of film
music that Irmin Schmidt did, so that's what'll be playing
today - probably topped off with his "Gormenghast" opera.

Really? He wrote music inspired by Gormenghast?? That's two big enthusiasms of mine put together. I hope it's not disappointing, because it sounds like an odd mix to me. Thinking back, I can't recall Meryvn Peake ever mentioning or even hinting at music in those books, but something with a trace of Tibetan monastery in it is what I'm now expecting.

So yeah i also been talking to this one girl at work.. she just got out of a bad relationship. She was being beat up etc. Has a mutual restraining order but doesn't wanna ever go to the cops cause she's black and that is apparently against the rules

So he beat her up again and stole her car last week and today right before i get fired i see her and she tells me that she ran him over with her car on while he was riding on some scooter. Says **** him if he presses charges she'll press then back for gta.

He's on probation too. Facing like 5/7 if he goes back. I don't think he'll press charges though I'm afraid he'll do something crazy instead and end up really hurting her.

I dunno whether I'll be seeing her again or not now that I'm fired tbh. Just gonna let the chips fall where they may. Kinda concerned though

I have no idea of the time, and as my mam is almost thirty years dead I can't ask her, but date is July 6 1963 and city of birth is of course Dublin, Ireland.
