My favourite piece of advice for homeowners comes from Kahil Gibran:-
"Beware of comfort, that enters the house as a guest but soon becomes the master." Don't get too cozy, guys. Keep livin' on the edge, like me. |

A little more context since I'm at my laptop. My mom and I are going half and half on a condo because I didn't go to college and my brother went through college all expenses paid. The plan is to be a rent to own. So her and I will go on the title once it's purchased, and I will buy it back over time until I take ownership while simultaneously living there. Condos are going anywhere between 210-250k. Our budget is right in between. It's a fun venture and once that will be beneficial over time. I'm looking forward to it and of course, once the place is found, i'll announce it here.
Further along in the future, i'll find a 2nd property, and rent out one of them. Going back to what WWWP said earlier. That's the plan anyway. |
This tiktok went viral on twitter and reminded me of the proprietor of a lesbian-run neighborhood café I lived right by a few years ago. She had a similar energy when she was trying to be funny and I couldn't bother to twist my face into anything resembling a benevolent smile when she was at it. We just had the most incompatible "vibes" any two persons could have and it was pretty much an undeclared war. Their coffee ruled, the wifi was great, so I kept coming and became one of the regulars. Plus I guess part of me enjoys being hated. Good times.

I think that's because as a pompous dick, you're legally obliged not to have a sense of humour.

Despised by basic bitches of all stripes, especially the LGBTQ ones: the jadis story.
