If you're expecting me to believe that the NWOBHM that kicked off in the late 70s early 80s in Britain and which heavily sped up 70s hard rock just ignored 70s punk that came up just before the NWOBHM got started then you're still a delusional butthurt dad rocker. Punk was massive for the movement.

Punk we survived. It was disco and the lack of people dancing that stopped us getting booked into the good clubs.
That and: - more girls came to dance, which meant guys came to score - lotta dancing = lotta sweating = lotta drinking - in the beginning DJs simply undercut the bands win, win, win for the club owners. HEY TROLLS!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
