I'll have to check it out. I recently got a PS5, so I am kinda curious if they've provided an update to the game to increase the framerate or add HDR or something. I guess I'll have to look at the tech specs.

Best Doom ever made eh? That's high praise. I've always had a real soft spot for Doom 64 - partly due to nostalgia.

What I really want is a true next gen Duke Nukem game. Forever was a sad state of affairs all around and the Duke deserves another outing.

Yeah I get it a bit of higher praise because it really is quite good. You'll have to let me know about the ps5 thing. I have an xbox one series s so I may try it on that. I also agree on the Duke Nukem thing. I actually talked about that with a coworker recently. Coincidentally. I was saying the same thing. There needs to be a good true reboot of Duke Nukem. I've always had a soft spot for those games but even I couldn't stomach Forever.

Btw, I finished Fable 2 last night. Still a great game. Holds up well.

I'm pretty excited for the new one that Microsoft teased I think last year sometime. Feels like a series that has limitless potential with modern gaming possibilities.

In other news my weekend got pretty exciting by the end. Currently the housing market is pretty insane for sellers, and on top of that we bought our house in an area of Fort Wayne that is currently exploding in population. As a result of this we found out from our realtor friends that our house would likely sell for a $30-40,000 profit from the mortgage that we took out in December 2019. So we're thinking of getting it listed and upsizing. I could see the housing market taking quite the turn in a year or so which means selling sooner rather than later is probably the way to go to maximize profit. Our house will be extremely attractive to buyers given the area and since almost everything in it is new. Got a new roof put on it in the Fall as well.

We are torn between buying or having a house built. With all the neighborhoods that are popping up around us there are a lot of spots where you can kind of just pick a lot, a blueprint, and a builder and let them go to town. I'm not sure what will be the most cost effective plan but we're talking to people and doing our due diligence as best we can

It's being developed by the same team behind Forza Horizon and they've shown they can take on massive maps etc. What I'm excited to see is what kind of charm they bring into it. Fable has always had a defining charm that you can feel through all the games tho much less so in Fable 3. Its something that has defined the series throughout and hopefully they do it justice in this next one. I'm very excited tho but I'm trying not to get too hyped up until it's closer to release. But it's fun to theorize.

All we have to go off of was a teaser trailer but there was some whimsical humor to it that has my hopes up. If Fable 4 or whatever they call it ends up being some soulless unremarkable open world RPG that would be a bit of a bummer but I'm sure they will emphasize the source material. Hopefully they are aware that the games are beloved mostly because of how well the goofy tone blends in with the gameplay.

I use betway during the NFL season for putting together small prop bets or whatever usually just pissing away $5 or $10 on a weekend while watching the games with friends.

Anyway, you get a free "prize" wheel spin daily and this morning I turned a $1 free bet into $60 playing black jack.

Obviously I should withdraw the money and take a free $60 but I guarantee I'll hold onto and it lose it all instead.

If you want to lose it, bet on the Packers making it to the Super Bowl next year.
