Also, like playing an instrument?
Hell yeah you've got your area of focus where you apply pressure rhythmically while increasing/decreasing speed depending on the intensity of the situation and you can use your fingers to switch it up. Put it all together and you get a beautiful symphony lmao okay I know this got cringey but I still like the metaphor

This whole forum and our engagement with it is rather unproductive. Isn't that why we come here? To relax, have a laugh, and sacrafice productivity for a good time? How many times have you seen people's minds/opinions get changed on MusicBanter in a meaningful way?

Right but when people are shouting at each other to try and decide which of the two are the worse human being, it's no longer relaxing, funny, or a good time

Hey look, a white guy in the midwest downplaying discussions on racism. Everyone act surprised.

Maybe not for the active interlocutors, but for the audience, it's a digital hootenanny.

I think everyone on here is a wonderful human being. Maybe not equally wonderful, but wonderful nonetheless.

Yeah I see what you mean but that leaves out the aspect of the dynamic between you and the other person; the way you have to feel the other's response and respond to that in turn is quite different from playing an instrument I think

Gotta love how much conservatives love identity politics when they can use it to dunk on one of their fellow conservatives.
