Who would be so careless as to lose their dick? You're right: that sort of person deserves to be eaten.

You need to move to the West side, my friend. :)

To be clear, I think you're a dick not because you read Foucault or like The Fall. It's because on several occasions you were rude to people without any real provocation.

And because you seem to assign value to people based on what type of music they listen to.

I value people based on how they treat other people. Which is why:

Although I don't think we listen to the same music, I really quite like Key. He seems like a nice person. :)

That's all. Carry on...
Spoiler for spoiler:
being a dick. If that's what turns you on. :/

times two
A nice guy saying another nice guy is nice is nothing. I'm a bastard, and I think Key is nice too. So, you know, times three I guess. Plus my usual stupid humour.

And back in the real world...

Oh man so sorry to hear about that Plankton. What a **** year it's been for you, eh? At least you're on the other side of it now, almost. Roll on 2022 I guess. Condolences man. :(

I assumed that was the case, at least to a degree, with me and a few users on this platform: I remember joking around about lesbian friends and their mating habits, for example.

Maybe I was wrong (this is the first anonymous forum I've used since like 2006, not saying I always read the room correctly), maybe Batlord likes the woke high ground a bit too much, dunno. But then I also can't be bothered to care what someone like adidasss thinks about me: life's too short.

I wish you said "life goes by too fast" or "we only have a short amount of time." When you said "life's too short" you give me the impression you're like Scott Lang stuck in the Quantum Realm, likes the way you say things is seriously misleading. You has to remember that no two people have the same exact frame of reference.

Truly - I have no idea what you're saying, probably too clever for me. let's leave it this way.

Believe me, when I'm in a comfortable environment I'm pretty bad as well. Humor knows no bounds. I'll make fun and pick fun at everything and anything. However in the context of the internet and forums, there's already so much negativity and comments being misconstrued that really the safest way to go about it is just to dial back and just do your own thing. And throw in some positivity here and there.

That's my 2 cents anyway. But what do I know, I'm just a guy on the internet.

**** that **** bro lol the internet is the best place to spew ignant bull****

And if you honestly think what you say on this forum has much more impact than what you say in a room full of people you are sadly mistaken....:o:

You be you

jwb 08-26-2021 01:29 AM

Alright. I get your laid back approach bro and yeah it's safe.... That's true... So is never crossing the street.

Seriously though i don't really think it's any less irresponsible to say the **** to your irl friends.. you are still spreading the same **** just maybe on a different scale but yea... People wanna have their cake and eat it too. "I'm very edgy as well but just i do it responsibly!" The ****? There's no such thing fam. You have to take risks to take risks. And it takes money to make money. And nothing is new under the sun. And why the **** am i still typing

Trollheart 08-26-2021 05:14 AM

Surely your idea is flawed in essence there? You can spout all sort of **** (good and bad) on the interconnected network of losers, and all you'll get in return is vitriol and ridicule, maybe empty threats. Make a serious faux pas in real life and you could be down for a fistfight, ostracised by your mates, kicked out of a pub etc. Doing things online doesn't have real consequences, as such, whereas doing it in real life very much can. I'm not sure if that's the point Key is making or not, but it speaks to your comment about online vs real life. They are very different. You'll say things online you wouldn't say to people's faces, again, good and bad. Though probably mostly bad.

Thanks TH. Yeah, losing my musician friend still hurts and then this.

As far as spewing BS on the internet or irl, you reap what you sow. Treating people with respect and dignity in any situation fosters love and kindness, and that will be mirrored in how people react to you. Usually when a person is being mean spirited it's a personal issue, like low self esteem, and it's a vicious circle of self defeat. You have to break through all of that at some point and start helping people, because that's what makes being human worthwhile.
