Moving every month sucks balls. Next move is a house. We have all the big stuff moved but there's still so much little sh*t to move...plus my records which I didn't move yet because of rain. I have 1200 records. It sucks every time.

Moving is so difficult - and today is hardly ideal weather for it. Good luck and take care not to hurt yourself carrying those records!

We have new neighbors upstairs and although walls and floors here are decent and I'm fortunate in that noise doesn't bother me much - boy, are they noisy! Stomping around and yelling at the top of their lungs. This should be fun from now on. :o:

Exo, I can't stand living in thin walled/floored homes, and me being a light sleeper doesn't help that mindset either. Hope you get to a comfortable place.

So cool. And such taste! Yep, waiting for the call, and already I've had four that weren't it. God damn it.

I know. How dare they try to make money and feed their families and pay the rent? We should just line them all up and shoot them.

Reminds me of a joke I heard on TV years ago. Guy says I can't imagine what's going on upstairs, all that noise. Sounds like an elephant riding around on a motorbike while a seal bangs a kipper against a table! Friend says why don't you go and say something, guy says yeah I think I will.

Next time he sees his friend he's asked how it went. Guy says well, the door was opened by an elephant in a crash helmet and over to the side a seal was banging a kipper on the table saying "who is it Harry?" :)

lol

Was there a penguin on the tele?

ribbons 02-15-2021 10:29 AM

:laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing:

And that's exactly what it sounds like, except it seems they're dragging around the table while banging a kipper on it!

How ya been, Frown? Missed ya. How's Cali?

Same ole avoiding anti-maskers and describing my sloppy art as experimental. Not really able to enjoy most of what California has to offer right now but the weed's still good.

Yep, it sounds like those guys but it was in fact a British comedian called Alexei Sayle.

Just got the call.
News ain't good.

Ciaran has more or less confirmed that the growths on Eddie's front legs - which are, he says, very large, are cancerous. He doubts it's possible for Eddie to come home now and have any sort of a life, so Karen and I have discussed it - well, come to terms with it really - and there's nothing left to be done. We can't have him living in pain just to assuage our sorrow; I always said when there was no hope, when I had advice that it was time to let go, from a trusted source, that I would.

And we will.

Gonna be pretty sad for a while, folks.

Thanks for all the support and advice, encouragement and prayers. Sadly, there's no longer anything anyone can do, and we have to face that fact.

The last cat standing has fallen.
RIP Eddie.
:(
