I've had the same core group of friends since I was a teenager. Once that formed, I stopped seeing my sh*tty family.My parents must have recognized that I was better off spending my time with better people. My moms siblings are all great but their spouses and kids all kind of suck and I just never wanted to be around them so I wasn't forced to.

My parents have also always worked multiple jobs and I started working early so we just never had the time to co-exist.

Well done Chula Vista, humour is what keeps us going..My family, will not go there...My late Dad was a good person...that is all..
