Like I said it sounds like bull**** to me but I remember hearing that on some podcast or something.. can't remember where. Doesn't make sense to me cause presumably then having a passenger in the car that you are talking to should be just as dangerous.

But the law is by nature arbitrary and gay. There are tons of red lights around here I would run when I was driving cause the town is set up so stupid and I'm not waiting on a ****ing light when it's the middle of the night and nobody is even around. There's nothing dangerous about it. But ifI got caught I'd get ticketed nonetheless.

The civic engineers just did a piss poor job... Tons of red lights that should either be stop signs or convert to blinking orange/red at night when there's no traffic but apparently that's too complicated for these hicks to work out.

I'd be a fool to not use my connections though, right? It's not like I'm hangin with the attorneys outside of work. I just make them love me while I'm at work

'I'm not hanging with those attorneys so it's no old boys network' is almost the opposite equivalent of 'I'm not racist 'cause I have black friends'

I mean honestly I'm really glad for you that you're doing well career-wise but anyone who talks about powerful connections and networking goes on my leftist blacklist
