But really, what you guys are saying is really coloured by a male lens I think. Basically the whole 'it's much more laid back and we don't get women nagging about mice etc.' is just part of the bro culture, which is mostly inaccessible to women. And then I'm not even talking about sexual harassment statistics etc.
Also, the good old Hillary hate (even though there are good rational reasons to hate her) is just' waaah powerful women are such bitches', while conveniently forgetting why that is so.

it depends on the workplace of course, but especially in male-dominated environments I think it is. Have you seen this film called On Body and Soul? It's great on so many levels but among other things it depicts some of those gender/workplace issues really well.

I hate all rich people. Race and gender be damned. And if sexism or racism hurt a rich person I support weaponizing it against them.

Also, the animal shelter was easily the most laid back job I ever worked at and all the staff were women except us guys from the program who did the dirty work lol

The other animal shelter I worked at wasn't so laid back though.

Retail management are among the worst I've ever encountered too. Some legitimately stupid people making 60k a year bossing people around at Walmart.

When you have time, can I tap you for some information on how those places work? I'm writing a story based in one and I haven't got a clue how to make it sound authentic.
