I have Backblaze and it seems to be a very good deal from what I can see. 4 terabytes backed up, 11 to go. Six dollars a month. can't be bad.

Great! I might go for the yearly price ($60) and
possibly the extra amount where they keep your
stuff going back one year. I especially like that
you can get drives from them (the 8TB one!)
with your stuff if you ever want or need it.

Yeah that is handy, though I doubt I'd ever go for that, being over here in Ireland. So far their backup seems to deliver what it promises, though my own one has a while to go before it's completely backed up.

Well, that's the important part. I even checked their reddit forum last night to see if there were any pressing problems.
My main interest is in backing up all of this music. I should just go ahead and get my desktop all ready and just go for it January 1 -
otherwise I'll just analyze it to death and never do it. How about your speed? I know it all depends,
but are you getting something like a TB saved every day or two or slower/faster?

Ah no in fairness it's been a lot slower than that. I joined Dec 8 and so far have 4 tb uploaded. So that's, what, 1 tb every 5 days? My speed is around the 250 mb/s but that's download, and the upload is of course a lot slower, though usually I don't pay too much attention to it. Probably around 30? I don't necessarily mind the speed though: it'll take as long as it takes, and it doesn't seem to slow down the PC so I'm happy enough.

Actually my upload speed is slightly faster than my download
(which is, at last check, ca. 940 Mbps).
Good to know that you don't feel any drag.
