Two homeless people slept in the park opposite my house last night. One saw me and scurried off so I asked the other one if he wanted any juice or anything. He got up to follow me and I was like just wait there. I gathered up a water bottle, two grapefruit juices, and a leftover piece of pizza and just one chicken wing. He was like hell yes and giving me a thumbs up. I felt bad sharing so little food but I only had two of both and want to eat pizza and chicken for breakfast myself.
The way the police and the community here has been treating the homeless is ****ing savage. They’re taking the benches out of the parks and raiding long established camps. Meanwhile the city council is courting the development of stupidly overpriced condominiums. They’re just twisting the knife in on the people in need while catering to the wants of the people who have everything and more. |

Got to eat with family today, buffalo chicken burgers. plus went food shopping and got a decent amount of food. played dominoes a few times and just talked and got to see people.
