I'm just waiting to see what this check looks like. I better get at least 800. I am gonna ride this **** out for as long as I can and kill myself for a few months or so and try not to spend. I have to see how I can work it. I really wanna find a way to flip my money. Invest, crypto currency, start an e business.... I don't ****ing know. I don't wanna have to clock in anymore.

Already as a manager he's clamped down on not paying for food, spoken stupidly openly about taking the store manager's job, and wrote up this little Dr. Seuss story about personal responsibility and productivity featuring three characters named "Everybody", "Somebody", and "Nobody" which he tried to have everyone read before clocking in on his shifts EVERY SINGLE DAY. Luckily he gave it up after one day and I'd like to think me refusing to do so and referring to it to his face as "annoying" and "capitalist propaganda" might have convinced him it wasn't worth the effort but he probably was just lazy.
And now I heard him declaring to someone else that after the new year he's going to start making sure nobody wears headphones on the clock. So far he hasn't been the worst guy ever so I've been giving him the benefit of the doubt that maybe he's just kind of a dickhead but not that bad but he's officially now just a deadend job petty tyrant loser.

Middle management are always the worst try hards imo.
Real talk if you had to try to dream up a way to earn that you could halfway enjoy what would you do? Open a comic book shop or something? |
