i'm debating on asking the guy that works the next desk over from me out...good idea or bad idea?

Relationships in the workplace never last very long.....

That is true.

When it ends up ending it makes for an awkward work experience. If it lasts, you can't really work together die to conflict of interest. A lot of companies might fire you for fishing from the company pier.

when I was 18 I lived and worked with my boyfriend...it was very very intense. It was 24 hours together basically It did not work out too well for me.

Today I climbed to the summit of Mt Everest. :)
My friend and I (accompanied by our Sherpa guide) left base camp early morning despite the driving snow.
After scaling the Khumba Icefall, we rested at the Valley of Silence for tea and ciggys, before pushing on to climb the Lhotse Face up to the dizzy height of 23,500 feet for a quick rest and acclimatization, where we took the opportunity for an early afternoon dinner due to bad weather.
By the time our meal was fully digested a window of opportunity presented itself and donning an extra sweater, we made a quick dash for the peak.
The view from the 29,028 foot summit is simply breathtaking and I'd thoroughly recommend it to anyone.

What you'll need;

Climbing ropes
Tents
Climbing harnesses
A spare sweater
A good pair of trainers
Sleeping bags (just in case)
Extra warm mittens
2 pairs of thick socks
Camping stove
Lots of tea
Cigarettes
Matches

Local radio DJ's have always bemused me. But today one of them had me shaking my head in disbelief.

It was announced on the local news that a factory was closing and about 60 people would be made redundant.

Straight after this the DJ played 'Don't Worry , Be Happy' and dedicated it to the factory workers.

Moron.

Maybe they should of played Panic by the Smiths considering what it's about.
