@mindy you don't have to tell anyone what you're there for specifically, it's ok to just take what applies to you and leaves the rest.

Thanks, thats a good idea because I do agree with OH that weed isn't something like coke or heroin.

I've been to rehab 4 times in life and met people there for weed.

It was in the past and alcohol every time. Marijuana was a miracle cure for my alcoholism but now without weed, I'm lost asf.

Even while trying to be supportive she's still low key rolling her eyes at going to NA for weed. And isn't NA the Scientology scam where the cure for narcotics is dianetics?

*Googles*

Okay yeah no the Scientology scame is Narconon, not Narcotics Anonymous. Everybody can chill out now.

Maybe you should just go ahead and smoke weed.

My mom saw the benefit of marijuana also, I literally stopped drinking and now I'm about to finish a college degree and stayed far away from alcohol.

I'll be applying to really good paying jobs as a programmer or machinist or both soon. So they will most likely be testing for marijuana.

The first time its clear to go back to smoking... I will.... https://i.postimg.cc/wMpHVWdH/maury.png

You should date your mother.

 Weed breaks are good for you. Having a clear, sober mind is the best anti-anxiety aid I've found. Plus it makes the next time you get high GREAT.

tbh the fact that it isn't like coke or heroin is irrelevant

The question is whether you are having trouble quitting on your own and would benefit from a support group.

I think stoner culture has produced this bizarre idea that it's the one drug you can't really get addicted to and that is just false.

I could easily look down on crackheads and say my addiction is nothing like theirs because maybe it wasn't quite as severe or doesn't have the same exact symptoms. But as long as you are failing to quit and it's interfering significantly with your life you are an addict. It's that simple.
