Not just expect. It works. A lot of straight guys apparently aren't exactly straight. That's why I put it in quotations.

Really? That's amazing. I shouldn't be surprised really, virtually nobody is 100% straight or gay of course, but I thought queerness in guys was usually so suppressed that they would never act on it

Edit: I just realised that the obvious reason I've never understood gay people trying to hit on straight people is because of my experience of straight guys trying to hit on me even when I've said I'm gay. It rarely happens luckily, but god is it annoying
