I mean, maybe if you have a severe case of "morning person", it aint that bad. But for the rest of us, forget it. It's basically the witching hour. I don't blame Bat at all for not going in. I bet if he did go in, they wouldn't even give him a complimentary breakfast sandwich.

I had to give a talk at a conference once a few hours away from me. The event started at 8. I think I had to get up at four that day. Somehow, I managed to do it. But I swear on Lincoln's grave, never again.

I've let it slide to 7 in quarantine. I started getting up early just to have alone time. I definitely am naturally a night person, but sometimes you have to adapt to your circumstances.

circumstances as in, avoiding your ex?

my daily rhythm has shifted too because of corona, in my case that means I go to sleep later than I used to. Not as much motivation to go to bed early if you don't have to go anywhere the next day. I do force myself to get up at 8 on weekdays though

My day will end with, first, the new Finntroll, then this large bit of Scarlatti which is a bit of a misnomer (it's actually more than 5 different instruments).
