Lotta big names have been through the CRC, Psy. That's awesome.
Yeah. It was a blast getting to spend a couple of days there. Looking at all the various names of performers, bands, and albums on the boxes in the vast rows of shelving of the master tapes in the vault was mind-blowing.

I guess I don't get the appeal of a place being historically significant, unless it is a cool or beautiful place by itself.
Sorry. I'm still happy for you though.

It's kind of a cool building. It's tucked away in the woods too. You can barely see it through the trees. Basically a house. It's mysterious and holds the ghosts of jazz.

Can Lady Yak change Grindy's name to Eeyore? Is there some type of form to fill out for that?

Maybe as a European, historically significant things lost their appeal because, like, everything is old a f*ck over there. Americans don't really have the luxury of having old as f*ck things all over the place. We're kind of stupid that way.

I'm still disappointed. JOHN COLTRANE RECORDED HIS IMPULSE SH*T THERE DUDE.

I lived in Germany for 3 years, and the biggest take-away I got from the reverse culture shock after coming back to the US was that we're a nation of *******s, so there's also that. Grindy's not mean in any sense, he's just not feeling any love.

C'mere and embrace the love, my friend. You're still my favorite.

Just get grindy an anime body pillow or something. Lots of love in those things.

Visiting a studio is always cool regardless. Even cooler if you could sit in on a session.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

Art Is Dead. Buy My ****.
