I have noticed less air traffic - especially in the middle of the night - and it is
definitely quieter with cleaner air. I drove to a favorite restaurant last night to
pick up dinner for the first time in 2 weeks. They are a nice older Thai couple
that have tried hard to keep their restaurant open and I wanted to help them
by picking up $60 worth of food. Many people in North Texas have been good
at staying home and so the streets were nearly empty, but there are some
restaurants that were told that they could re-open. It seems stupid: why open
your doors and use electricity, air conditioning, etc. when you will only have 2
redneck chicken eaters come to your restaurant all day? I would think it would
be cheaper to stay closed.
