I shouldn’t have personalized it with you or norg and I’m sorry for that.
I think everyone needs to go way beyond even what the guidelines are. We know that one infection can turn into thousands. There’s little else we know. It’s my opinion that with the pulmonary and possible neurological problems plus it being a death sentence to so many vulnerable the world should be willing to bunker down for 3 to 5 years while they make a vaccine. In the meantime dudes in spacesuits should be delivering our essentials.
I just don’t see a few weeks being even close to the burden we should be prepared to bear considering what’s a stake. Maybe in only half a year there will be a workable treatment plan that can save those with immune deficiencies.
When my cupboard finally went to the last of the spaghetti and rice and beans I considered deliver but the price is ridiculous. At the store 80 to 90% were wearing masks and social distancing but that other ten percent is all it takes to kill others including my old unhealthy ass. So actually, yes, it is my unapologetic opinion that if these people won’t play by the rules, I wish we had a government that made it simple: do this right or we’re going to come and kill you. It’s a small ask to just stay home, stay away from each other in public if it’s absolutely necessarily to be out - and to the people who just seem incapable of following guidelines that are that ****ing simple and it’s likely them or me. It should be them.
