Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

I mean, I'm used to that, but I don't really get this one.

EDIT: "Sickler" Okay I get it now.

Yes, "RVG Studio" was a powerhouse of talent and his
way of getting "that sound" is still a mystery to many.

"Kling Klang Studio" is a lot smaller than I expected,
but still can give chills if that was a major musical
moment of one's life.

You can't hear coughing from internet text.

Can't hear Batlord gagging on my ding dong as it hits the back of his throat through text but I can try and translate it.

Might as well try to see if they do visitations" not thinking that I'd get a response.

I did.

Maureen Sickler, Rudy Van Gelders long time personal assistant just emailed me back herself and said that they occasionally will have visitation periods but that we're gunna have to wait and see how the world looks and to email her back in a month and they'll have me come see the place.

HOT DAMN I AM EXCITED.

MY F*CKING AVATAR PICTURE WAS TAKEN IN THAT STUDIO. SO COOL.
That’s sacred ground right there son

I’d love to do that.

Sat in (briefly) on a mixdown of a commercial jingle (the only uninteresting part of the visit) and got to roam freely inside the vault where they keep all of the master recordings.
And, to top it all off, we went out for a fun evening of barhopping with several of the studio staff at the end of the last day.
Damn son
