It happened to me a few years ago cause I was Twitch streaming constantly while laying on my side. ****ed me up good. I'd get off my bike after going to work and land on the ground and have to stop for a few seconds with tears running down my eyes. Then a full days work of constantly reaching above my head to grab fried pork and eggs would **** my back up even more. Went on for a few months, then it was less ****ty but would still pop up regularly for the next year, and now I don't worry about it much. There were more than a few days I'd have to call out of work and explain to a manager what was going on and basically have to tell them to eat **** if they didn't feel like understanding.

Reminds me of Dr Pimple Popper. Like you lived with a removeable cyst covering your entire face for 15 years? You know you can like... get it fixed?
Get what fixed? If you don't have insurance and you have a back problem you just have to live with it and pray it gets better.
Not directly comparing the two. With the cyst you could DIY it, I dont recommend trying anything new involving your spine
How do you feel? I wouldnt force yourself into movement if it's constantly causing pain, but once it's feeling better light activities and daily stretching would be a good habit to get into. And please drink water.
Oh and btw drinking dehydrates you and tightens the muscles. Badly.
if you can manage it:
1) rotate hot and cold packs 2) cat cow stretches |
*grunt*

How's your mattress elph? Do you have a frame + boxspring + mattress setup? Or is your mattress on the floor?
My go-to advice givers say just sleep on the floor. You will feel better faster.
