Looking for new shows on Netflix. A few times now I thought I found something new only to realize I’ve watched it before about twenty minutes into the pilot.

^ I'm not sure what you like to watch, but some recent Netflix stuff I've enjoyed, in order of length:-

Vietnam: very thorough documentary series by Ken Loach
The Derry Girls: Sitcom about girls in Northern Ireland. I had to use subtitles to understand their accents, but it's an innocent nostalgic romp about school and family life: funny enough to keep watching imo.
The Universe: Each episode of this docu series looks at a bit of astronomy. I liked it while it was examining our solar system, but now it's gone intergalactic, all those unimaginable numbers are a bit of a turn-off for me.
20th Century Women: Off-beat movie about an American teenager in the 1970s and the bohemian women he grows up among.

all married people seem as though they could just as easily be married to someone else

it's not romance until someone is going to go Shakesperian

That's because most people are basic bitches, not because there is anything wrong with online dating.
And you're also a basic bitch, albeit of the emo variety, which is why you think that drama and romance are the same thing.

I don't know what the "pure" metric for basing attraction on is, but I'm thinking smell which you can't do over Tinder

She runs marathons lol

And obviously its still based on status and appearances to a large degree, but at least there’s no BS like what you’re apparently going through with your current chick where you have no idea if there’s any attraction or potential future at all
