I was dismissed last time I went in because I said that lie detectors are pseudoscience that should not be permissible in court. I thought that they had banned it but apparently if both legal teams agree, it can be used as evidence in that jurisdiction.

For the first 5 days yes, it's full pay. Then it's time off unpaid or you can use your own vacation time.
