I'm not talking about just having some music on during your car journey at a reasonable volume for your own enjoyment. I'm talking about having it so obnoxiously loud the neighbourhood can hear it, windows wound down, the lot.

There's a limit but loud is the reasonable volume for quite a bit of music. As long as it's not late when they're doing that I wouldn't deprive it from anyone. Headphones just won't cut it.
