so they speak two or more languages and you only speak one and you feel like their poor language skills are the problem?

That's an interesting thing about daily life in places like Texas that I just don't ever experience. Indiana's such a secluded ****hole that basically everyone that's here was born here or at least born very close by (like I was born and most of my childhood took place in Ohio). So running into someone that doesn't have easily understandable English is extremely rare

in countries around the world people respect when you try your best to navigate their language
In America people equate not being fluent in English with not being able to forgeting that these people already speak an entirely different language Most non-native English speakers still read and speak English more proficiently than most Americans It’s one thing to only speak one language but as far as I’ve seen America is the only country with millions of people who can’t even communicate effectively in the only language they speak.

I can almost guarantee you it’s not them it’s you. They see the racism in your face before they even get to the counter and not surprisingly they’re ****ing sick of it.

I mean when you don't speak the language and have to conduct business with that person it can be frustrating no matter how much you remember that a language barrier isn't a personality flaw. I'm sure they're frustrated too.

Nah he's kinda right. Black dudes aren't so bad but black women are by orders of magnitude the worst customers to deal with and they do it to other black people too.

My english has gotten rusty cus i don't have alot of ppl here to practice it with. Its not that i forgot how to speak in english but rather that i get tongue tied and it all comes out with a Puertorican accent. I quite hate it, i wish i could take the accent away.
