Some guy in the line at the post-office was talking **** saying fast food workers didn’t deserve $12 an hour which is what a local McDonald’s is supposedly offering. I made a scene and went ham on his ass. I’m not letting this right wing **** fly anymore. I’m calling mother****ers out.

I've heard people around here telling me McDonald's is paying 15/hr

I hate fast food work but **** i might look into that. That's more than they pay at the shelter.

It's not a ego thing I just hate working with food in general. Wouldn't bother with it for minimum wage. But 15/hr changes things entirely. Have worked in hot asf factories for less.

The FOH make a lot where I work but I’m not cut out for that.

I don’t really agree that food service is food service. Working in a nice clean kitchen with friendly supportive people is my current reality. I’m grateful for it and I know how lucky I am on a relative scale.
