I said I would never go back to Wyoming in the winter because I'd had my fill of snow and freezing temps. I'm looking forward to it but I feel so so unprepared! I've been in CA over a decade now, and I have become what I used to mock. My siblings are gonna roast me.

The expected high for the week is 13° F

Idk in a way it was kind of cool to have to go out and chop firewood first thing in the morning every weekend. Like when the air is so icy you can't fully inhale. Listening to the radio to see if school's cancelled because it's -30° and that's the limit apparently. Idk I'll update this post in a week and see how much it lives up to the nostalgia.

That sounds very romantic to me, but that's just because I'm used to the boring Dutch climate and I can't even imagine severe cold. I think it has been colder than - 5 degrees Celsius only a few times in my life, maybe even once, and it was mass hysteria

Well I walk everywhere so it gets old.

And driving in Utah isn't exactly safe even with out icy roads.

Plus, Utah weather sucks so I'll leave for work and it's 80 F and I'll have to go home in the snow because I didn't bring a jacket because it was ****ing 80 degrees at 8 in the morning.

Oh yeah, I go back every year or two, I just usually go in the late Summer. Which is really just Pre-Early Winter. There is always snow in the mountains but that's to be expected. Full-on Winter is a different story! I will post pics, it really is a Winter Wonderland.
