Just got back from Austin. Found a cool place that was an interesting hybrid between a BBQ joint and a hibachi restaurant. They even gave me my check at the end of the night shoved in the middle of some volume of the Bleach manga. Magnificent.

"Moth balls" made me think of another moth joke. You probably know it. It's has fewer words to memorize than Norm's moth joke. I think once you can pull that one off you can move onto Norm's moth joke. However when you do attempt to tell Norm's moth joke ask them if they know what a "podiatrist" is beforehand cause you don't want to spend five minutes telling the joke and have them miss the punchline cause they don't know what a "podiatrist" is.

They’re giving me my own knife at work which is some kind of status thing. Like when your kindergarten teacher gave you a sticker. The good thing is the chef asked me exactly what knife I want and using the same knife all the time makes it easier to get your work done and I can keep it super sharp.

That sounds like one of those small things that can really make a difference. They're clearly glad to have you back, good for you!
