Still evacuated, possibly through the rest of the week. The fire is nearing residential areas but so far only 67 homes have been lost. No deaths. The fire is nearing the burn mark of the Tubbs fire of 2017, if it catches there we're all ****ed because the rest of the valley is a tinderbox.

Went to the beach this morning

Really high winds and light rain

I waded up to my thighs and the waves were furious big green monsters

I didn’t risk going any farther because I’ve had a wave knock me over like that and when the sea is that aggressive once you lose your footing it’s on

Goddamn it was beautiful

Nobody there of course - I didn’t even have to drive past the main tourist spot

Even that was deserted.

Bought some groceries on the way home. Eggs milk pasta yogurt grapefruit

No veggies though unless you count canned chili and pasta sauce

Watching ESPN can’t wait for game 7 tonight
