It's true. Easily the worst generation of Americans.

Their parents were ****in hardcore sons of bitches that survived the depression and 2 world wars, but since America inherited a global empire and a booming economy after this, their kids turned into a generation of soft bellied flower children who later turned into soulless yuppies.

To be fair Boomers spanned from 1946 to 1964 - give or take.
I was born in 60 and don't feel remotely close to the generations born 10-15 years before me.
And blame the folks behind Reaganomics for yuppies.
What would you have done at 21-22 if the gov started shoving dollar bills up your white suburban ass?

The Batlord 10-27-2019 11:55 AM

Bro you're pretty clearly a soft bellied yuppie.

Every generation of Americans sucks because they’re American

Boomers turned very deeply into what’s worst about America: soulless pointless consumerism, but they also changed the landscape in some very positive ways culturally. They put great music front and center and we still suck on that tit today.

That was primarily boomers, wasn’t it?

I'll give them that when they were young they made cultural contributions... They also just so happened to live in America when it was at its peak... Most of them had better lives than kids today

Which ones?

pre-boomers: 1946-49 (34 to 41 when Reagan got in)
boomers: 1950-59
post-boomers: 1960-64

Yes

And I’m almost completely an exaggerated cliche of it.

Nothing matters

Except after a while I guess it did start to matter
